Cathy Beatty

Cathy joined Simplicity as the lead Business Coach for Simplicity’s new Specialty Products Division. Educating agents and marketers on deferred income annuities, qualified longevity annuity contracts (QLACs), asset-based long-term care, and single premium life products, she assists agents in expanding their business with these niche products. Over many years, she has built long-term relationships with agents through her attention to detail, understanding of life products and the needs of agents and their clients. Cathy is thrilled to be home to an industry she knows and loves.

With superior customer service as her goal, Cathy uses her extensive experience to provide the same service she’d like to receive, to those she supports. Having been both an inside annuity sales manager and a self-employed broker in the field, Cathy knows both sides intimately, and brings a vast base of knowledge and expertise to agents. This well-roundedness allows her to bring strategies and recommendations, and to find creative solutions to challenges faced by agents and brokers.  

Cathy has over 20 years of experience working with annuity products and investment vehicles. She holds an M.B.A. in Finance from DePaul University, and an undergraduate degree in Business and Human Resources. She has held Series 6, 7, 26, and 63 securities licenses in the past and her life and health license for over 20 years. Through the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business, she also holds the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant Designation.
